"Has anyone ever told you that you have a Christmas Tree Face?"
I received the above 'compliment' in my high school photo class. As I emerged from the dark room with my newly developed roll of black and white film, I excitedly examined my proof sheet in the light for the first time. Apparently the joy and anticipation I felt about the possibilities of this roll of film was written all over my face.
Now, years later, I continue to experience that same joy and anticipation each time I snap my camera. Whether its a family posing for Christmas cards or a newborn baby seeing the world for the first time; a newly engaged couple staring lovingly at each other or a Senior excited about facing college, I love being a part of capturing that moment of joy- and documenting it forever through photography.
